For the Work of the Ministry
in Central Africa
It is always a great joy to receive visitors on this page. Your coming on this page is not an accident, therefore Ann and I as well as our entire ministry team would like to thank you and pray for you. Kindly take a few minutes to read through this brief update about our ministry in the "Heart" of Africa. The little "acorn" which the Lord planted in Central African Republic about ten years ago has grown and is touching lives in Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Switzerland, United Kingdom, as well as in Sudan. It has been a fruitful journey, but not without challenges.
What a privilege to have people with whom we can share the concerns of our lives and ministry.
Your faithful and vigorous praying has helped our country the Central African Republic during our great time of uncertainty. The last general elections have been, for the most part, the most peaceful our country has seen in recent years.
Please pray for the new government that:
- this will be a God-fearing team of leaders
- the gospel of Christ will continue to have free course in our land and through us to other nations
- the unity of the church, greatly divided during the recent political campaigns
Please thank God for His faithfulness to our family. Our first daughter, Emem, recently completed her first degree in Print Journalism with first class honors. Kindly pray for her graduate studies in the Fall. She needs a suitable accommodation in Columbia, home of University of Missouri. She needs scholarship to complete her Master's degree in Journalism, as well as Law.
Thank God also for all that He did for Edet during the 2005 Missionaries conference in Winchester, MA co-hosted by Living Word Missions. He received his healing for a serious chest pain that had lasted for more than a year, as missionaries prayed with him. Praise the Lord!
Please pray for more laborers to be raised through the African Christian Fellowship, a community of African Christians living in the USA. For a number of years efforts have been made to gear this group towards world Missions with little success. Edet spoke to that group on What Shall it Cost for Us to Reach our Generation with the Gospel of Christ. Pray for full provision for his family and ministry.
For further information please contact us by email. Thank God you are there to hold up our hands as we storm the gates of the enemy.
God bless you.
Yours truly in Christ,
Edet & Ann
