It has been said that the Philippines is the only Christian nation in the Asian region, but the truth is that the Philippines is a religious nation. Aside from the many religions, pagan practice and idol worship is still being observed especially in remote places. A few know of the fact that there are still unreached people groups in this nation. There are tribes living in mountainous areas in the three islands of this country who haven't heard the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. People are not aware that it takes long hours of travel (10-12 hours) on rough roads; long hours or even a day of hiking to reach these places.
The Mission
The need to reach out to the youth and children of this nation is an urgent cry! The less fortunate are longing to hear that Jesus loves them. Millions need to hear the truth of God's Word to set them free from the deception of religion that brought the bondage of poverty and sickness into their lives. The Muslim community needs the touch of God's love, unreached tribes need to hear the Gospel!
The Body of Christ has to be awakened! Believers need to be trained and equipped to take part in the "Great Work." How can they be trained to join the harvest field if no one is willing to disciple them? Thus, Living Word Missions, Philippines has been given a heavenly mandate… "TO HELP DISCIPLE THE NATION AS WE BRING CLOSURE TO THE GREAT COMMISSION"

This ministry is now in its tenth year and has been officially turned over to national leadership.
Outreach Programs
Bible Training Centers: Of 5 bible training centers, one is held in a prison. Has graduated 364 students with 169 current students.
Youth and Children's Ministry
Christian Education Program: Over 800 schoolchildren have been reached this school year with volunteer teachers from the alumni of the Bible training center.
Christian Living: A public high school has been opened where Christian Living is a part of their curriculum. 1,058 teenagers are taught the Word of God weekly. For some of them, this has been their first time to open the Bible.
Kids Club
6 Home cell Kids Club (hosted by volunteer alumni) are now actively catering to the children of the 6 barangays in the City of Baguio and La Trinidad.
Hospital and Prison Ministry

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" (Matthew 25:35-36 NIV).
Project Agape
Demonstrating the love of God through dental and medical treatment, giving of clothing, grocery items and Bibles targeting the indigent families, orphans, and widows in remote places. We also teach the Word of God especially in the subjects of healing and prosperity so that they may know God's provision for them in this area. Film showing is also conducted. "For this is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of truth" (2 Tim. 2:3,4 NIV).
