Bio: Wendy is the co-founder of Living Word Missions, serving alongside her husband until his home going in 2006. She is responsible for day-to-day operations in the US Office. She leads the Board of Directors and serves in various administrative roles. Her passions are serving missionaries and reaching the last reached.
ROD EULENFELD
Finance Director
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Serving in Missions Since: 1984
Bio: In his many years of missionary service, Rod has served as boots on the ground both in Guatemala and Malawi. Early on, he was called upon to serve in an administrative role in the US Office of his sending ministry. In the decades since, Rod’s skills have enriched several missions ministries. He and his wife, Shelly, joined LWM in 2020. Rod’s sense of humor keeps us on our toes but it’s his eye for detail, his seasoned common sense, and his history of integrity that makes him the man for this job.
ELISABETH TATRO
Media Manager
Location: Lakeland, Florida
Serving in Missions Since: 1989
Bio: Elisabeth is primarily responsible for publications and media. Born on the mission field in West Africa, Elisabeth feels she has always been involved in missions and is passionate about children's and youth ministry.
SHELLY EULENFELD
Deaf Initiative Coordinator
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Serving in Missions Since: 2017
Bio: A former music educator, Shelly taught low-income children in public schools for many years. She left her education career for missionary service, along with her husband, Rod, teaching in a school for the deaf in the nation of Malawi. Shelly now leads our Deaf Initiative with a goal of providing resources for the deaf, the largest unengaged unreached people group in the world.
OLIVER FRISCHKNECHT
Location: Thalwil, Switzerland
Serving in Ministry Since: 1999
Bio: Having formerly served in India, Oliver now pastors a growing multi-generational church near Zurich, Switzerland, Christliches Zentrum Thalwil (Christian Center of Thalwil). A bit of an adventurer and a talented photographer, Oliver has a wonderful way of seeing life. He brings a strong faith in God and practical wisdom to our team. Oliver is usually the one to ask a question no one else is asking.
MEIRE GEISEL
Location: Grafton, MA
Bio: Meire is uniquely suited to serve a missions ministry. A native of Brazil, Meire holds a law degree, has lived on four continents, speaks five languages, and is a small business owner. Meire has a passion for missions, and a passion to teach others to hear God’s voice. Meire is a cheerleader for what she believes in, making her a great advocate for missions and missionaries.
GARY COOPER
Location: Castle Rock, CO
Serving in Ministry Since: 1984
Bio: A missionary veteran, Gary served 36 years in field ministry in multiple locations. He brings vast experience to the team, having worked in virtually every aspect of missions: teaching, pastoring, administration, church planting, humanitarian aid, and Bible schools. Gary has a spirit of excellence and is a fine minister of God's Word.
TIM SCHMIDT
Location: Rochester, New York
Serving in Ministry Since: 1993
Bio: A business owner and former pastor, Tim’s anointing is both priest and king. Tim brings to the Board of Directors a keen business sense, along with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and wisdom beyond his years.
